  • Angels Team Manager

    You will be responsible for effectively scheduling, managing and motivating the Clarins Angels Team and when required to work with the Team on the scheduled activities. You will be responsible for recruitment, motivation and development of the Clarins Angels Team Members. You will be working alongside each Angel Team Member on a regular basis to assess their performance and identify their individual training needs.

  • Building & Reception

    Clarins Head Office is a grand and imposing period town house in the heart of the West End, occupied daily by up to 100 employees and their visitors. It is also home to four training rooms which accommodate a further 30-40 people on a weekly basis. Managing the day-to-day running of the building and reception are a team of four. The Building Manager and Assistant’s duties include maintenance and upkeep of the property, the health, safety and security of everyone within it, cost control and management of all building related services and supplies from utilities, to printers and copiers, kitchen consumables and stationery. They also run a very busy post room and provide emergency reception cover. The Head Receptionist and Assistant’s duties include opening up the office each morning, responding to all incoming calls, maintaining the highest level of security at reception as well as welcoming all visitors, booking couriers and taxis and at times of pressure giving practical assistance to their colleagues in the building team. To be a part of this department you need to be a highly motivated and flexible team player, willing to help others at all times and work well under pressure.     This department is primarily responsible for cash collections from trade customers. They also maintain the customer database and respond to customer queries. The department structure consists of a Credit Manager, 2 Credit Controllers and a Cashier.

  • Customer Relations

    This department responds to hundreds of consumer calls, letters and emails a week, all relating to Clarins products and treatments. The department’s key objective is to uphold Clarins reputation for exemplary customer service by answering queries and resolving issues that come direct to head office, efficiently and to everyone’s satisfaction. They also co-ordinate the participation of approximately 80 Clarins Specialists in the Look Good Feel Better charity programme, an industry initiative which stages beauty workshops in hospitals for women undergoing cancer treatment. The department is headed by a Customer Relations Manager, supported by an Assistant, and to be a part of this team you need excellent verbal and written communication skills, an interest in people and beauty, have a warm personality and be calm and diplomatic under pressure. You also need to be self-motivated and a team player, organised and efficient, able to multi-task and prioritise. Successful candidates have invariably had prior experience in customer service or as a Clarins Specialist.

  • Events Manager

    Strong confident presentation skills are essential. You will be responsible for setting up, coordinating and hosting events throughout the United Kingdom. Your attention to detail and strong communication, language and literature skills will put you in good stead when scripting speeches for events. You will be required to use your creative skills when setting up bespoke events.     The Finance Department is a very busy and challenging place to work. The department is responsible for producing Statutory Reporting, key management information, the management of working capital, collecting customer payments, paying all suppliers and the Payroll function. To succeed in this fast moving environment you need be highly motivated, a team player and computer literate. Flexibility, attention to detail, being able to meet deadlines and working well under pressure are also essential qualities.

  • Head of Training

    As Head of Training you are responsible for ensuring that the training department supports the Company’s aims and objectives and contributes to the development of the business. This is achieved by carrying out regular and on-going training needs analysis and evaluation and through the planning, development and implementation of a training and development strategy. Sound financial acumen is also required to set manage and control the agreed monetary budgets that support this training strategy.

    A flexible approach and excellent communication skills will also ensure that you are able to gain the essential support and co-operation for new training initiatives from Management, colleagues, customers and company employees alike.

    Strong leadership skills are required to manage, motivate, inspire and develop the training team and support the company’s policy of succession planning.

  • Human Resources

    Servicing all employees within the UK this Department is responsible for all areas of the HR generalist spectrum and Health and Safety. Consisting of a Head of HR, an HR Manager, an HR Advisor and two HR Administrators, all roles within this department contribute to develop, implement and maintain up to date proactive HR policies and practices across the UK.

    Role dependant skills vary but key is an open mind to change and the flexibility to manage fluctuating workload whilst remaining detail-orientated to ensure accuracy. There is the need for up to date working knowledge of labour legislation to provide accurate advice and consistent guidance to all staff and management.     This area of the Marketing Department works closely with Paris Head Office in the development of new products, pricing, communication, inventory forecasting and management, product launch support material, national activities and advertising. Skills required are a marketing related degree or experience in a marketing related environment, good oral and written communication and organisational skills.   • Marketing, Merchandising

    This Department is responsible for the design and installation of our retail counters and Skin Spas. They are involved in space negotiation with the stores, guiding the project through design, concept, development, engineering, manufacturing, installation and merchandising. Throughout, maintaining fast and efficient communication both internally and externally ensuring that each project runs to deadline and budget. This department is also responsible for all new product and promotional merchandising. The structure consists of a Head of Merchandising Design, three Project Managers, a Merchandising Executive, a Visual Merchandising Manager and a Visual Merchandising Executive. Skills required in this department are: spacial awareness and creativity, an understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes, attention to detail, good time management and the ability to juggle many projects simultaneously all at different stages of development.

  • Marketing, Promotions

    This area of the Marketing Department is responsible for the development and execution of tactical promotional strategies across all our areas of distribution. They project manage the promotional programme, from planning, sourcing gifts, managing promotional stock, print buying, store approvals to delivery.

    To be part of this team, you need to have a commercial approach and be a flexible team player with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to fixed deadlines. A creative approach is required, along with experience in design, print buying and a feel for visual merchandising. The department structure consists of a Promotions Manager, two Promotions Executives, a Promotions Coordinator and an Artworker.

  • National Mobile Managers

    Using your ability to inspire and motivate individual / team participation and commitment you will be responsible for driving the development of the Clarins Skin Spa. Your responsibilities encompass the recruitment, motivation and development of a team of National Mobile Therapists. You will have a hands on approach to actively promote the Skin Spas on a day to day basis whilst the implementation and planning of the National Mobile Therapists schedule, ensuring full support is given to the Skin Spas, is key to driving all sales revenue in stores. Understanding the overall picture of Therapist development is crucial for you in identifying specific development for individuals and managing succession planning across the Company. The ability to analyse, interpret and present data is invariably fundamental to this role. To be a Treatment Development Training Manager you will need to hold a recognized Beauty Therapy qualification up to and including NVQ Level 3

  • National Mobile Therapists

    To provide an exceptional standard of customer service whilst carrying out Clarins professional treatments. You will be selling to and advising customers on Clarins treatments and your natural rapport with people will ensure a positive customer experience to maximise occupancy and the meeting of your treatment sales targets. Your role will involve the flexibility to travel nationally to cover for resident Therapists vacancies, sickness and holidays and specifically to focus accounts on driving client occupancy through supporting teams to increase the awareness of Clarins Skin Spas. To be a Treatment Development Training Manager you will need to hold a recognized Beauty Therapy qualification up to and including NVQ Level 3

  • National Sales Manager

    The role of the National Sales Manager encompasses all aspects of our total business and the development / recruitment of the Sales Force, with the ultimate responsibility to ensure that all retail and trade targets are achieved. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director.

    Through the development and ongoing review of effective business plans and the implementation of specific targeted activity within key accounts, the National Sales Manager reviews in depth the performance of the total field sales force on a regular basis with the Regional Managers and the Commercial Director.

    It is crucial that the National Sales Manager displays advanced communication skills, excellent inter - personal skills and demonstrates the ability to work to deadlines, targets and can demonstrate excellent time management skills. As Clarins operates within a wide retail and trade spectrum, top level retail management experience is essential to this role.   • National Skin Spa Manager

    A proven track record of strong leadership skills is essential to the ability to inspire, motivate, manage and develop the Skin Spa Development Team, National Mobile Therapist Managers and National Mobile Therapists. You will be responsible for promoting the Skin Spa brand ensuring the achievement of all Occupancy Targets, Treatment and Treatment Retail Sales Targets. You will focus on ensuring that succession planning is implemented to identify specific development and training needs for all individuals. Your commercial acumen will allow you to respond to and proactively anticipate the needs of the business relating to specific major store groups, by implementing, managing and developing a specific Promotional Programme. Using your experiences and ability to be creative you will effectively communicate resulting policies and strategies to all levels, building credible relationships with peers and internal and external colleagues alike.

  • Online Project Manager

    The Online Project Manager co-ordinates and helps develop Clarins’ UK presence on the Internet. The role includes working closely on a daily basis with the International e-commerce team based in Paris to maintain and edit the Clarins UK e-commerce website, and working closely with the International and UK Marketing teams on digital marketing and advertising to increase online sales. They also project manage the creation of bespoke websites and the adaptation of mini-sites, assist authorized stockists who feature Clarins on their own websites and police the web for copyright infringements.

  • Orders Department

    Based onsite at Clarins’ UK Distribution Centre, where the warehouse is managed by a third party on behalf of Clarins, this department is the central point for all trade orders and queries, along with the Customer Service for our E-commerce side of the business. The Orders Department is a team of 10 Clarins employees, comprising of an Orders Administration Manager accountable for the Customer Service Supervisor who supports a team of 4 Customer Service Advisors, the central point for all order related enquiries from our trade customers, a dedicated E-Commerce Customer Service Advisor and the Distribution Team supported by a dedicated Administrator.

    Over 365 thousand boxes and 16.5 million units are dispatched from our warehouse every year, so attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential requirements for our staff. We strive to provide the highest possible level of service to all of our customers, both internally and externally. Excellent communication skills, ownership of problems and the ability to build firm relationships are key criteria.

  • PA to the Commercial Director

    Also incorporated within the department is the PA to the Commercial Director. The role’s key objective is to provide comprehensive support to the Commercial Director. Essential qualities are being organised, efficient and an accommodating manner.

    As this person is also part of the Sales Administration team, they are also required to assist in the day to day running of the department.

  • Payroll

    This department runs a monthly payroll for in excess of 1,600 staff. They are responsible for all aspects of the payroll including making statutory returns, responding to queries from staff and government agencies, ensuring timely and accurate payment of all staff and providing staff cost and performance statistics to management. This is a busy department and all team members must be highly motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, have appropriate professional qualifications, be computer literate and effective communicators. The team includes a Payroll Manager, Payroll Analyst and 2 Payroll Administrators.

  • Public Relations

    This department runs the busy press office. Their key objective is securing editorial coverage of Clarins products in magazines, newspapers, on-line and on TV which increases awareness of the brand and plays an important role in driving sales. This is primarily achieved through building relationships with upwards of 400 beauty journalists. The department structure consists of a PR Director, PR Manager, Press Officer and Assistant and what they all have in common is PR experience, excellent communication skills, writing ability and a passion for beauty. In a press office you need to be highly motivated, a team player and computer literate. Creativity, flexibility, attention to detail, being able to meet deadlines and working well under pressure are also essential qualities.

  • Purchase Ledger

    This department deals with payment of all trade suppliers and employee expenses, analysis of costs and management of working capital. It is a busy office with high volumes of transactions and requires good organisational skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external suppliers. Excellent computer skills are essential. The department includes a Purchase Ledger Manager, Purchase Ledger Assistant and an Expenses Clerk.

  • Regional Commercial Training Manager

    As a Regional Commercial Training Manager you will contribute to the development of the region by motivating and enthusing Specialists to maximize every sales opportunity, actively recruit new customers and create theatre and activity through inspirational hands on in situ coaching and training.

    It is essential whilst delivering training that you are able to identify and make provision for the training needs of both individuals and teams and through regular evaluation and assessment are able to measure the impact of your visit and give constructive and timely feedback to all relevant personnel.

    As a true ambassador of the brand you will follow best customer service practices, support the Company’s Progress Development Plans and ensure you meet all activity service and retail sales targets.

  • Regional Manager

  • Sales Administration Department

    This department provides administration support to all of our sales force and also to our Skin Care Specialists.

    The department structure consists of a team of 8 Sales Administration Coordinators, a Sales Administration Manager and PA to the Commercial Director. Their key objective is to provide first class administration support to almost 150 members of our Sales Force and to our Skin Care Specialists. Each Sales Administration Coordinator supports various groups of people within our Sales Force offering all manner of assistance whether it be travel and accommodation arrangements, correspondence or internal communication.

    In the Sales Administration Department, essential qualities needed are flexibility, working well under pressure, being a team player, able to meet deadlines, being an excellent communicator and to multi-task. Good computer literacy is also a necessity as is a pleasant and an accommodating manner.

  • Sales Administration Manager

    The Sales Administration Department is structured to include the Sales Administration Manager who manages the Sales Administration team. The key objective of this position to ensure the team provides efficient support to our Sales Force. The role consists of managing the team from a personnel aspect and also overseeing the work undertaken within the department. This role also has its own individual workload and is responsible for various projects.

  • Sales Development Manager

    Travelling across a regional area this role supports and motivates the resident Skin Spas teams of therapists. Working alongside the resident teams the aim is to drive the developing of skill sets, building confidence and importantly encompasses the ability to develop the treatment and treatment retail sales, driving and maintaining client occupancy. Running specific client recruitment programmes and events you will be increasing client awareness through your exceptional capacity to create theatre and activity in store.   • Statistics

    The primary purpose of the Statistics Department is to collect and collate sales information from over 900 sales outlets around the country. The department provides information key to driving the business and incentivising the consultants. The team consists of a Statistics Manager and three team members whose duties involve data processing, reporting and providing support for different teams within the sales force. Each member of the team must be highly numerate, have excellent data manipulation and analytical skills and must have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues throughout the company.

  • Stores Area Manager

  • Treatment Development Training Manager

    As Treatment Development Training Manager you will work closely with the Head of Training pro-actively giving feedback from regular analysis and evaluation in order to contribute to the development of Treatments, Treatment training, courses, materials and tools.

    You will also be responsible for the on-going personal development, motivation and management of the Treatment training team.
    Demonstration of sound commercial knowledge and reasoning is a must to ensure that daily work and decisions all have a positive impact on the business.

    Finally you will also need to be able to identify and make provision for the training needs of individual trainees and motivate and inspire whilst delivering a high standard of professional and commercial treatment, sales, product and people management training.

    To be a Treatment Development Training Manager you will need to hold a recognized Beauty Therapy qualification up to and including NVQ Level 3.

  • Treatment Training Manager

    As a Treatment Training Managers you are responsible for the professional, commercial and upbeat delivery of all in-house Treatment and product training courses and workshops.

    A sound product and treatment knowledge is vital and the ability to lead by example a must.

    It is essential whilst delivering training that you are able to identify and make provision for the training needs of individual trainees and as a true ambassador of the brand you will follow best customer service practices and support the Company’s Progress Development Plans.
